Includes the Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff, local transfer of decedent from local hospital, Coroner/M.E office, convalescent/nursing home*, processing of death certificate and disposition permit, sheltering of remains up to 7 days, transport to crematory, DCA Cremation Fee, return of cremated remains in a plastic utility urn with a cremation disposition permit. No services, no family present. (Does not include cost for additional personnel if decedent is over 250lbs.)

If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative

containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The alternative containers we provide are constructed of hardwoods, composite materials, fiberboard container, or heavy corrugated cardboard.
